Tuesday 7th August - London
As a result of the street party last night, we are all feeling the lack of sleep. Brett has gone to work and we are off to Brighton on the train later this morning.
We were not the only ones visiting Brighton today.
The Brighton Pier. We wandered along more than half of the pier, but the combination of crass stores and the heat of the day, caused us to decide to head back to shore for a lunch.
Lunch was at an American diner. G loved it but P is underwhelmed by the entire place.
Looking east from the pier. We hadn't seen people swimming in the sea on any of our other trips. Could have easily joined them today. We managed to catch a bus back up the slope to the railway station. It's not far, but four quid well spent in our view. Back home now, preparing for the trip to Stockholm tomorrow. Dining in tonight.
