Grant decided that the gout or whatever, was interferring with the holiday, so looked on Dr Google for some answers. Clear that calf muscle pain as a result of gout in the toe is a known problem. It has a long name but it has prompted us to seek medical help. Grant called a clinic suggested by the NHS only to be told to go to the London Bridge Urgent facility. We checked that out and found that the initial consultation would be NZ$200. All of a sudden the pain in the wallet overcame the pain in the foot and legs. We will see what the day brings. We are off on the bus soon to go into town and get your shaving stuff Pat. If all goes well we expect the walking to continue to ease the pain.
We bussed to Piccadilly Circus and had tea & a scone at Concerto Caffe. Soon after we left to walk to Jermyn Street, we came across some guys trying to restrain another guy. Person there told us the guy on the ground had just snatched a bag off a woman. They were struggling to contain the thief but managed to do so till a foot bobby turned up. Great catch!
