Wednesday 25th July - KUL to LHR
Depart Kuala Lumpur 0950 - Arrive London Heathrow 1635
These are long and boring trips, especially when one has left his spectacles at Auckland airport. However we managed fine with the first leg to KL being in a row of two seats and then on the second leg to London in a row of three. All good and we managed it without too much of a fuss. Long immigration queues at LHR. Hopped on underground to Holborn where Brett was in a local bar waiting to catch up. With the help of a number of lovely Londoners we managed the stairs and escalators and were soon trying to cool off with cold beers all round. We double decked to Brett's place. While we freshened up Brett went to the supermarket a bought a couple pizzas for dinner. We faded pretty quickly and were very happy to hit the sack before too long. Even then it was gone 11pm and almost too hot to sleep. We did though.
